Peter A. Donahue was born in Hometown, Illinois. He attended Brother Rice High School in Chicago. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Monmouth College. He graduated Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University, serving on Law Review.

Mr. Donahue concentrates his practice in the defense of Worker’s Compensation and Employment matters. He also represents parties in Residential Real Estate transfers.

As a seasoned litigator of 20 years, Mr. Donahue has extensive trial experience before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. During this time, he has appeared numerous times to argue appeals before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit Court and Appellate Court. Mr. Donahue also handles subrogation matters in the Circuit Court. He has experience in the investigation and handling of all aspects of workers’ compensation claims, including significant experience with nursing home defense, heart attack, psychological distress and death.

While attending Monmouth College, Mr. Donahue studied at The University of Granada, while living in Spain. Additionally, he studied at American University, while living in Washington D. C. and interning for the Senate Judiciary Committee. He has given numerous seminars addressing the investigation and handling of workers’ compensation cases for in-state and out-of–state clients.

Mr. Donahue has been admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois since 1995. His professional affiliations include the Illinois State Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association.
