Perry Gentile is an associate attorney of RNBK. Prior to joining RNBK, Perry was employed in the insurance industry and gained significant practical experience regarding a vast array of insurance related matters. Mr. Gentile has first hand knowledge of the claims handling process. He was responsible for all aspects of claim handling including in-person claimant interviews, on-site field investigation, subrogation, and negotiation of high exposure cases. He has extensive experience in the investigation and defense of all aspects of workers’ compensation claims, including but not limited to complex cases involving occupational disease, heart attack, intoxication, psychological distress and death.

In addition, Perry has several years of trial experience at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He concentrates his practice on all areas of insurance defense with an emphasis on workers’ compensation and subrogation cases. In addition, Perry is knowledgeable in real estate transactional matters.

Perry has a wide range of clientele within the transportation, construction, manufacturing and retail industries. He received several awards from his client’s in honor of his excellent service.

Representative Cases
Perry works diligently to provide his client’s with a cost effective resolution of claims whether by trial or by way of settlement. He recently reached a compromise settlement in the amount of $150,000.00 of two substantial wage differential claims with exposures in excess of $750,000.00.

In addition, Perry has successfully tried numerous cases at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He prevailed on significant exposure case involving a lumberjack whose hand was severely injured by a chainsaw. Perry successfully argued that petitioner was an independent contractor and benefits were denied.
